Does Dr. Sanchez-Cruz take insurance?
With the exception of the Aetna Columbia Student Health PPO Plan, Dr. Sanchez-Cruz does not take insurance. Clients pay out of pocket for each session, but may submit claims to their insurance companies to receive reimbursement through out-of-network benefits. Dr. Sanchez-Cruz can provide you with an invoice with required information ("Super bill").
Does Dr. Sanchez-Cruz offer psychotherapy or medication management?
Both! Dr. Sanchez-Cruz can help you with medication management, psychotherapy or combined treatment.

Can I be a patient if I live outside of New York?
If you can come in person to an appointment at the office in New York or New Jersey, Dr. Sanchez-Cruz can help you. At this time, Dr. Sanchez-Cruz offers virtual (video) only for New York or New Jersey residents.
Do you prescribe ketamine or other psychedelics?
At this time, Dr. Sanchez-Cruz does not provide ketamine or other psychedelic-assisted treatments, though this may change in the future.
How much does a session cost?
The introductory phone call is free. During this call, Dr. Sanchez-Cruz will discuss session fees.
Do you provide treatment in other languages?
Yes. Dr. Sanchez-Cruz is fluent in Spanish.
